There are lots of professional LGBT cross-industry events that happen. If you have the time and money, you can fill almost every night with an event thats packed with successful gays. Here is one that is run by the Stonewall Foundations Young donors committee. I'm probably going so LMK if you are as well.
I'd also recommend doing a Fire Island share.
While FI has a certain reputation, since it's expensive, most of the people who summer there have their act together. Lots of doctors, lawyers, bankers, designers, fashionistas, etc. I did a quarter share this summer and met tons of new people and really enjoyed it. While its a party scene, a lot of friends have met long term boyfriends there.
